The Washington Recovery Alliance (WRA) had its first ever Olympia Advocacy/Education Day on January 26th. More than 70 recovery champions from around the state participated. It was a great start for what we plan to make an annual event. Our main focus was advocating for Ricky’s Law.
It was a proud moment for us as an organization. With support from people like you, we were able to lay the groundwork to create a statewide recovery-focused organization. A strong, organized and united voice for people affected by substance use disorder and other mental health challenges is a great need in Washington and now we are on our way to addressing this gap.
Thank you for being on this journey with us!
